What is a heat pump?
A heat pump doesn’t generate heat, it transfers it from one source location (ground, air or water) to another, heating the radiators and hot water in your home. A heat pump operates using electricity and is up to 300% more efficient than a traditional gas boiler.
The UK Government has set a target of installing 600,000 heat pumps a year by 2028. We’re on a mission to spread the word about heat pumps and help the industry meet that target.
If you are looking to replace your old gas boiler or other fossil fuel heating system, we can help. Heat pumps are quiet, energy efficient and within reach of many UK households thanks to the Government’s flagship Boiler Upgrade Scheme, .

What does a heat pump cost?
There’s no one-size-fits-all answer and every home and family is different. Air source heat pumps aren’t a straight swap for your old boiler.
That’s why we take the time to understand your home: its size, your current heating, and how well it’s insulated. Only then can we give you a quote that fits your needs.

Everything you need to know about air source heat pumps

Are heat pumps noisy?
You might be surprised by just how quiet an air source heat pump is.
Air source heat pumps make some noise when they work. It is similar to a whisper, a quiet library, or a breeze through leaves.

Do I need new radiators?
It’s a question we hear a lot and it’s an important one. Identifying whether your current radiators are suitable for a heat pump is part of our extensive design process.
We’ll answer any questions you have. We will help you with everything you need before moving forward. Don’t worry; we will guide you every step of the way.

Are heat pumps efficient?
We rarely have bitterly cold winters here in the UK.
Your air source heat pump is great for the UK climate. It can work off-grid and still run when outside temperatures drop to -28°C. It may work a little harder but you will still be warm and cosy in your home.
