Meet the team – Mike Henderson

Continuing our staff spotlight series, we’re shining a light on our HPIN Manager Mike Henderson today. Mike oversees the team that onboards and looks after our installers in the Heat Pump Installer Network.

Here Mike talks about his day.

I have been with the company for over 4 years and have had various roles within it with my current role being as the HPIN Manager. I head up the team that looks after all of the installers in our Heat Pump Installer Network, one of the biggest in the UK.

My day job differs every day! For example today I was testing new software for the company, had a meeting regarding installer communications, and created some new process maps for our workflow. Yesterday I had a meeting with our Marketing Team finalising our activity for the year ahead, whilst also helping my team maintain the network. It really is a fantastic environment to work in and keeps you on your toes!

The best thing we do as a company is providing training and support to Installers that might have felt overwhelmed by Heat Pumps in the past. We have the best solution I have seen. It’s free, it helps installers build their own businesses and is helping decarbonise the heating industry.

One thing I think the industry can do better is to support each other more. We have an amazing support group on our Facebook ‘Inner Circle’ page of installers, and I would want that for everyone who works with us. It’s a real team effort and without our amazing installers, we would not be able to achieve the things we do for our customers all over the UK.

Find out more about these calculations.  The running cost you can expect will depend on the size of your home, any heating system upgrade and any saving will also depend on the fuel type being replaced. You can expect the saving to range between old and new, depending on the age of your current heating system.
